Editorial Note: Christmas gift note from May and other Cutler office workers to Joseph Victor Vanderbilt (1878-1966) who received his architectural training at the Society of Beaux-Arts in NY. He worked for several firms in NY 1895-1904 before arriving in Rochester where he was a draftsman for the Cutlers until early in 1906. He moved to Washington and then, in 1910 to Minneapolis were he had successful architectural firms. He married Eleanor St. Clair Hinde on Oct. 31, 1904 in Rochester.
