birthday. Dear me, he's getting along too - but looks about the same and runs an auto. (3 wheels!) Cold & light snow. Papa went to Geneseo for the day. Mother and I lunched at the Mechanics Inst. and then went to the Xmas show at our church. Dickens Christmas Carol illustrated with stereoptican. Then cinemetograph and then a Tree. While they had that I went over to the Library and read "The Marriage of Mr. Ashe" in Harpers. May Vickery died suddenly at St. Mary's hospital last night - after a slight operation which no one took seriously! Dec. 30 Fri. Dear Mother's birthday. She's the sweetest thing. She got Bayberry Candles from Harriette
 & a letter. H.
sent me some of Edith's Central America and San Francisco letters the other day - very characteristic and interesting. Char came down tonight, while we were writing letterd to bring Mother a satchet and Claude was here this a.m. and again tonight. He came after Char. They are dears.
