We got up there, rather late, but had a very pleasant time. The girls told all about "Sabrina" of Amherst fame - a Statue who has to be at a certain banquet very year and is hidden the rest of the time. Has been to Paris and California and in the ocean &c. &c. At nine we all went down to "Mead" to a literary meeting of the Psi Omegas - such nice girls. Miss Carpenter read a very good paper - in a charming manner - about "the Concord group". The girls did fancy work &c. Edith and I re- mained behind and spent the night. She studied till 11 or so, and I read. Nov. 27 Sunday It got colder in the night and my cold is pretty bad now. Went up to Brigham to breakfast. Mrs. Fairchild was very nice - Miss Halbert came in after church (she's the one who looks like Alice Bunnell) to ask Edith if she might go with her. She rooms with Jessie Caton.
