also had a fine showing of Boston terriers & hunting dogs - but not so many entries as last year. Mar. 17. Fri. To Dr. Scranton's again - The last time for awhile. He has gone back to the Granite Bldg - very pleasant outlook. We closed leases for the new Central & Cornwall Bldg. Are having a good deal of competition nowadays with the Automatic Mail Delivery Co. It comes hard on Maisie sometimes! Tonight went to Edith's (after fixing Mother up for a "book social). Mary & Nellie were there & we had a real good time. Played Flinch, drank chocolate & did a lot of talking. Got squoozeer! in with a St. Patrick crowd, going & coming. Home late, bed later! Mar. 18 Sat. Awfully sloppy lately & raining quite hard today - but lots of snow (very dirty) left to melt. J.W. was certainly the limit this afternoon! Met Mr. Trapp again in Lura's room. Also Pierre Remington, Mrs. Penfield's son. Walked up with Meta. Papa read aloud tonight while I made a stock & Mother mended. Then I did my cash account & wrote. Got my Canadian Patent for Mandalay today (expected since Oct. 1. 1903!)
