Apr. 12 Tues.

Wm DeGraff & Jessie Green married.
Chattie's birthday. Gave her some beautiful handkerchiefs and a note (!) (by request) Char came at noon to bid us goodbye. I walked down with her. Tonight Mother went to the "Y" banquet and I got supper for G.C.B. cleared out my desk. Billy DeGraff was married!! Apr. 13. Wed. Claude went to Buffalo to lecture before the Art Students League. It snowed hard. And was cold and disagreeable. Edith Andrews stopped to supper, on her way back to college. And we sat before the grate & chatted till there to go to the 9:06 train. Mae Gallagher was there and a number of others came home & played "Flinch" with Mother. Apr. 14 Thurs. Still cold & snowy (horrid!) Mother, Father, & I took lunch at Sibley's tea room - just opened today, since the fire. Then bought Mother a blue silk dress & petticoat! We've been very much worried about Edith Hillman - tho't she'd have to have all operation, but they had a consultation today and decided not. At cooking school tonight baked fish and made egg sauce, Saratoga potatoes & lemon souffle. Miss Daggert is a very good teacher and attractive.
