in N.Y.
We had a real nice time and were all cheered up considerably (They need it,
poor dears.) Told stories &c. The married sister & her husband came
about 8:30 and I left (C.F.B.
got home) soon after. Almost froze to death on the corner.
Nov. 14 Mon.
Spent the evening over Howard Mosher's
films (and some of mine) trying velvet velox paper, which worked very
nicely indeed. Made about 30 prints all good but 1 & 2 spotted a little.
Nov. 15 Tues.
Fine day. Warmer. Walked way out to
Frank Davis'. Stopped at
Mosher's to leave films & had a nice little chat with
Mary.
Lillian had a most delicious dinner for
Chattie & me, and later we went to
"Cooks" to see Annie Irish in
"An Actress' Christmas". A charming little sketch, done
beautifully. We sent in our card, with greetings, and had a little note from her,
asking us to call at the hotel &c. The rest of the bill was mostly N.G.
Out at 10:30.
Nov. 16 Wed.
Still fine - but uneventful. I washed my hair tonight and then helped
Mother
wash Zendavesta for the cat show! She certainly did
act bad & Zozie "sympathized".
