Yoke. Tonight I wrote letters. Rather tired from yesterday ride.
Jun 1. Thurs.
Another gorgeous day. At 5:30 I went up to
Highland Park on my wheel, where I met
Chattie Davis and we browzed around till almost dark, and we
saw the mist rolling across the valley - like the ocean. Stopped at Cro'nest, coming down. Mother
was there - and Claude had a cold. Char
looked pretty in her green silk. Ethel was
off somewhere.
Jun 2. Fri.
Not so pleasant. Staid down town & shopped this noon. Tonight went over to
the "Y" to a Vacation House concert &c. Edith
was there & they had ice cream & cake &c. It was rather nice but I
went mostly to "keep along".
Jun. 3. Sat.
Another gorgeous day. Very busy morning and our first (skimpy) half holiday.
Claude is home sick with a cold settled in
his dear tummy and I stopped to see him. He has sort of neuralgia
too. He is dear and patient, but he is sick. I can't bear
to see him so. Carlie was out on the upper piazza with him -
expecting Kath. this p.m. I
