Dansville for Labor Day and Mr. Bunnell
wants Papa to come for a few weeks and
work on his History. The Buck
girls came over tonight and brought their pictures, but they didn't take
many. Some were quite good. They were delighted with mine. We "swapped yarns"
till after eleven. They seem nice girls.
Aug 31. Wed.
Lunched down town with G.C.B. and
shopped. Char came home yesterday. She got
lonesome without Claude. Papa &
Mother went up there tonight. I was too tired.
Sept. 1. Thurs.
Warm and cloudy and muggy and horrid. Used up. Took to my bed after supper,
but got up later and sewed and played "Flinch".
Sep. 2. Fri.
Very hot. Lunch with G.C.B. at Sibley's. Had a short chat with Mrs.
Armstrong. Rode over to the "Y" and saw Saint Helen a minute. She just arrived last night.
