Mother & Claude were the only relatives there (tho' Ted
 and Herbert
 came when they heard, later) Aunt J.M.F. wrote rather a cruel letter to Miss Garfield. I think she is very crazy, or rather "perverted in her mind". Mother and Claude came home tonight at 9-something. I met them - the dears. I do miss the Mother so when she's gone. We sat before the fire a long time, talking. May. 11 Thurs. Rode Diana today & came home to lunch. Papa read "Colliers aloud tonight. Fixed blue pts. May. 12 Fri. Lunched at "Y" and had a visit with Helen. She invited me up Sunday. Tonight went to see Jessie Bonesteel & Fred'k Lewis in "Mary of Magdala" with Laura & her mother. Was very much bored by the play. May 13 Sat. A gorgeous spring day. Rode my wheel. J.G. went to N.Y. yesterday. J.W. is getting ready to tomorrow, so of course we are all very busy indeed. Went to the library after supper & finished "Lady Kitty". Decided (almost) to go to N.Y. Tuesday) May 14 Sun. Rained nearly all night & poured this morning. Theo & Meta's 4th wedding day. Took some pictures of the girls. Claude came in for a little while - wrote &c. In the afternoon went over to the "Y" (all dressed up!) and heard the end of the services (Trinity boy choir &c.) Talked with Miss Babson and Grace Ehrhardt and then walked down to the car with Helen and Miss Field. Went home to supper with Helen - but first up to the New Orphan Asylum and talked to Miss Dinehart. Had a nice call - up in her
