Apr. 24. Mon. Quite summery. When I got home tonight decided I'd try Diana again and rode over D Davises. Chattie was sprightly and told me all about Washington & what a nice time she had at Mt. Vernon on Apr. 19. Mrs. Armstrong came in about 9:30 & Helen about 8:45. I left at 9. Helen goes to Detroit to a Convention tomorrow. It was rather nice, riding again. Apr. 25. Tues. Still summery. Tonight Mother & I walked over to Greig St. and called on Mrs. Brace and her long haired Kittens. Met Mr. & Mrs. Field &c. Then went into the Orphan Asylum & saw Miss Wiltsie & had a nice fare- well visit with Miss Dinehart. The babies are already at Cobb's Hill. The boys go tomorrow & the girls and the last of all of them Thursday - 25th. Apr. 26. Wed. Real warm. Went to the Mechanic Inst. Fair to lunch with Mary - who lunches at one for a while. We had quite a nice visit. Saw the Baseball parade starting for the first game (J.G. included) Tonight went down to the Fair with Mother tho' I was very tired. Saw Jim Arnold then I talked with Miss Stowell, Miss Ada Kent

, Jno. Dumont &c. &c. Frank & Lilian Davis were there. Had ice cream soda &c.
