A high wind all day so we couldn't even got off the island. White caps were
running down Mosher Bay and Bragdon Bay
was a sight. The waves and wind came tearing thro' the little channel between
us and Wanbeek and covered the dock so that Mr.
D. & Christine
spent a good deal of the forenoon putting an extra story on it.
The rest of us were rather lazy - in hammocks & with magazines &c. We
walked to "Charlotte" (wind!) and down the
other way - but "Bab Ballad" rocks are inaccessible this year on acct.
