Oct. 6. Wed Thurs. Still cold, but a fine morning. Mother went to Avon to a missionary meeting. I lunched at Sibley's and shopped. At breakfast we learned of the arrival of Amelie Frey's little daughter, (Dorothy Frances) Stopped at the Erie train for Mother tonight - swarms of nice missionary ladies arrived. I left Mother to follow & rode my wheel home and began supper. The cats were so lonesome and so glad! Wrote in the evening. Still sleeping in the little green bed - my room has been cleaned. Oct. 7 Thurs Fri. Cold day. Lots of trouble with our new heater at the office. Stopped at Moshier's tonight, but they weren't home. Papa came at 6. I got supper - Mother was late. Tonight went with Laura Hutchison up to Buck's on Plymouth Ave. hill to spend the evening. A 19th ward parade went by &c. We discussed photos &c. &c. Came down with Laura in a car. My bed tonight. Oct. 8 Fri. Sat. A horrid rainy Saturday (tho' I was able to ride my wheel down in the morning) It poured at night. Went with Lura to McCurdy's to change her Tabard Inn book and then took the car right home. Fixed up my room tonight, hung pictures, etc. Zenda assisted. The Neiner Bride and Groom made a short call.
