all but Mrs. Baker, and Miss Crichton, who was funny, as usual. Staid rather late and sat a long time at table. Mrs. S.
is very pretty. Lillian's style, but not like her, either. Jun. 23. Thurs. Char went to Syracuse today, for over Sunday. Mother and I went to see Jessie Bonesteel in "Hazel Kirke" at the National - Stuart was Dunstan - Lovely moonlight. Jun. 24 Fri. Fine day, but quite warm this p.m. Took supper at Harned's with the Flacks and then rode our wheels out to Grace Bingham's, via. Highland Avenue. Had to walk the last 3/4 mile - a puncture. Claude and James rode a little way with us - going to the Country Club. Gracie looked sweet in a light gown after a strenuous day. We did the strawberry bed and the roses &c. and sat on the piazza awhile and then played billiards. "Reggie" & I & Ethel and Grace. They expect the Texas brother and bride tomorrow. My tire was soft and we had to walk way home (about 4 miles!) The moonlight was gorgeous. Got here about 11:15 p.m! Jun 25. Sat. Warm and busy morning. A new tire! Did errands at noon and after dinner washed my hair and took a nap (or almost) Finally dressed and rode out
