Trudy got a fine dinner and we went to the Mechanics' Institute to supper. Saw Mr. Tooker of the National Co. there. Walked down to Edith's to a band concert in Jones Park - or started, rather, and got caught in a hard shower on Frank St. Sat on somebody's piazza half an hour, when a "kind lady" next door lent us an umbrella! Heard one or two pieces in the park

. Then it poured again and the concert stopped and we heard the music box awhile. Also phoned Mabel and Charlotte. Her mother went yesterday. July 1. Fri. Fine morning, but it showered considerably later. Trudy went to Penfield (via. Despatch) to visit Mrs Harris. I lunched and suppered at the Mechanics Institute. Saw Jessie Bonesteel there and Henry Miller, Jr. of their company. Took home the umbrella I borrowed & the maid asked if it was "Ella or Lucy" lent it to me! Titlow
spent most of the evening here. He came to pack up his things. Later Trudy came. Then Papa & Mother!
