May 25 Thurs. Cloudy and warmer. Took another ride to- night - out to the little Buell house - and went thro' it - (very pretty) The Twins

and Donald have a new pony ("sport") and a pretty cart. They got it yesterday and drove to the Country Club (so did Claude & Char.) Papa read the new McClure aloud tonight. May 26 Fri. Cloudy & horrid - Poured this morning and I got soaked. Lunched at the "Y" but Helen wasn't there. Read tonight. "Cloister & Hearth" &c. May 27 Sat. A little cloudy this morning but the sun came out later oil warmed up and was fine. Mr. Thomas of N.Y. is here visiting J.W. we talked about "Yerrup" &c. Char took Mother out to the Country Club with "Meccy". This p.m. J.W. & JG. both went off somewhere. JHG Jr. went to Conesus (Marjorie has the measles) Miss McAffrey went to "Cuby" &c. &c. The office was quite desolate this p.m. At 5 I took Diana and rode out East Ave. Met Mrs. JWC. and Mr. T. beyond the Country Club. went to Maplewood for milk and fried- cakes & then it was still so fine and Diana & I so fresh that I went on thro' Pittsford and around by Monroe Ave. home (15 miles or soniard. It was fine - so that I sang along the way (!) saw canal boats & trees & trolley cars and birds and automobiles and apple blossoms. Stopped at Davises and was chatting on the
