It was an inch and a half high - had 4 drawers that pulled out & a cover that let down - inside were 3 drawers that pulled out - in one was an envelope and in the envelope a letter! Cold shivery day - with snow flurries this morning. Letter from Con - telling how Edith had finally gone to the hospital and had her floating "kidney" anchored & was doing nicely. Went to Scrantom's &c. tonight. Saw Edith. After supper wrote, &c. New collar for Zo's birthday tomorrow. Apr. 9th Sun. Zo's & Zen's 5th birthday! A fine day. Rode "Diana" (for the first time) up to Cro'nest & took pictures of Puzzi & Katherine - also a "group" of Ethel Mundy & Putz, Char & Carl (!) Did a little archery with them & Mr. Beach. Foster
