Lady's eyes were shining by now! There were two classes of green hunters and it took rather long. About 12:30 or so it got misty and then it really dripped, but didn't phase anyone. I felt rather sad and Gracie suggested lunch - so we back - stepped to the oaks by the Genesee - and sat on a damp log and ate a good lunch with stiff fingers. I was right chilly in my finger tips - and glad to be in St. Helena uniform (red sweater) When we had eaten we did feel better and there was one less package to carry, but the grass was very wet going back and tho' we held our new dress up - our toes felt moist enough - as did indeed our ankles. But it was interesting at the jumps and Margaret Cary in a chamois coat sat up umbrella- less by "Mrs. Jimmie" Wadsworth and "Sally

and a red-headed youngster who rode Hendricka to victory. We admired "Toronto"
