Nov. 13. Fri.
J.W. said I could go to
Boston for Thanks- giving - much
to my joy - Alice invited were
some time ago - and again just before election. I also got a nice letter
from
Lillian Mackey, asking me over to
Frank's wedding. Very nice of them
I think - Lura, Emmund
Barry and
Ida Lynch are the only other ones, out- side the
family, invited from here. Wish I could be in both places, but choose
Boston.
Nov. 14 Sat.
I did intend to go out to Roger's to- night,
but went in to Klem Goodyear's
office instead and we had a long old- fashioned talk - till after six -
when she walked down to my car with me.
Nov. 15 Sun.
Busy day. Sorted out bureau drawers, shirt-waist boxes, closets,
&c.&c. After dinner (some time) went down to Edith's
via. Sophia
St. After waiting for nine boats at the new Plymouth
Ave. canal bridge. We had a nice visit and supper in the
kitchen - and then a visit with Mrs. Wray
