drove through and through the beautiful park - where the cottages are much more attractive than the majority in Twilight.

We saw a most beauteous little garden - with a tiny bridge and streamlet and flowers every color of the rainbow - and a gorgeus mountain view. We also explored the "Bear and Fox", another delightful Inn, where we had intended to stay all night, if we did stay over. It had portraits and things painted on the panels about the big living room, in which the big birch trees coming up thro' the middle are surrounded with round green-covered seats and the table covers match and the curtains are red. In the dining room the table covers are blue denim (with a square of white on top) and a big double fireplace comes up thro' the middle. When we had explored the park and had Maude Adams' house (outside) pointed one to us at a distance, we drove down to Tannersville and down toward Hunters and Windom and then back to the 3:55 train.
