The snow very deep now in the streets and I like it. I feel better
than last winter and now that the "boys" are both back things go
well at the office.
Martha Siemer was up in January to
"Anne's" wedding. She introduced
"Joe" and brought me a picture of herself and the
babies. Dear Mother is making comfortables for
Claude & Charlotte.
I got the material for a blue one and
Mother did for several &
Charlotte
sent a couple - Claude goes down
nearly every Saturday and sometimes on to Oswego,
stopping both ways.
Charlotte was better last week.
Feb. 22 Sat.
A lovely spring-y day as to air and sky - but very damp under foot
and puddles everywhere. We celebrated Father Washington's
birthday with a half holiday
and Chat, Edith and I went
to see
Sothern in "If I were King". I had a bunch of
violets, and so did Chattie and we
enjoyed ourselves very much indeed. Sothern
was fine, of course, and Cissie Loftas
was with him - It was "romantic" and "poetical". Mary
