I went up beyond the cliff-houses and sat on the shore and really
enjoyed ourselves. It was simply beautiful. Picked a bouquet of
golden rod, asters &c. and took it to Mae Stull.
Had a nice visit with her and John
on the piazza. Mrs. Wray
was just leaving with some people in an automobile. Some
boys were racing little toy sailboats It was all so pretty and
Mae
so pretty in her white gown. She teazed us to stay to dinner
but we didn't. Billy Degraff
arrived just as we were leaving. Stopped a moment at Alice
Jones' piazza, to see the new baby

. Then met "Marie" and
Lura and went to Jerry
Flynn's to a very good chicken and fish supper.
Nell MacArthur and some girls
from Glennys were there in
another room. Nell looks very well
- Lura thinks the Perfects are growing handsome - at least she
