Dear boy distinguised himself at St. Louis Tuesday night. We have clippings about it and nice letters from him about all sorts of things. Went to the library and read this evening. Oct 8. Thurs. Finished my X-stitching tonight (my pretty set of green brown & blue) and got out a very hard Ladies Home Journal puzzle (late.). Oct. 9. Fri. Mr. Cutler nominated unanimously last night.
