This week Dr. & Mrs. Andrews have been here and Edith graduated last

night and looked very pretty. Tessie Koch did, too, and Frieda Gutman and Laura Mc Gregor and Arthur Rathjen. We - the Andrews' & Mother & I lunched to- gether at Sibley's yesterday and then picked out a picture to send Prof. Glen, who had
(21)
been tutoring Edith in Greek. Today has been sharp little showers - a bit of sunshine and big fat thick beautiful clouds - the kind which make the lake all colors and every color. Edith and I went down - called on Mae & John at the Graves' cottage where they are for two weeks, and then went up to the YWCA opening - chatted with Helen, helped make beds &c. and had sandwichs & coffee & sat on the piazza and watched the lake & the rain. Later stopped at Mae's again and sat an hour before the nice blazy fire of Cannel coal and were jollied by John and Billy DeGraff. A little after eight they walked down to the car with us & provided us with popcorn fritters & we came home by 9 or so (9:10 transfer) quite cold.
