storm - a week ago Saturday - so deep the cars stopped and I couldn't get back to the office in the afternoon. It was lovely though. The next day we all went up to beatiful Cro'nest to dinner and I took some photographs in the living room. Then went over to see Chattie - who nearly had pneumonia and was out of the office over a week - I don't know but over two. She couldn't come to the Perfects' (at

Roger's) the Monday before - a very cold night - and Mabel's hot clam soup tasted good - Nellie got the pin (for 4 weeks this time!) and Mary the other - the picture of Mabel's kinder- garten children in a row. I had a miserable score, myself. Mrs. Wilkinson has been her visiting since Friday. Went home today. She was delighted with the house. The week before Claude had to go to Owego
