Thurs. Mar. 27th Got up soon after sunrise - another beautiful clear morning, but about at Canandaigua it began getting cloudy & was sprinkling when we reached old Rochester at 8:17! Quite coolish, too. Papa, Zo, Claude and Zenda greeted us with joy & we had a boiled-egg & coffee breakfast together - "glad to be home" again and all of them glad to see us. Zozie purred very hard. I got down to the office about 10 and they had missed me too - and my work was ready & waiting. Saw Edith at noon and told her about "Orrin" & Mary at night (no, Friday night) Sun. Mar. 30 A lovely Easter morning, but I didn't go out, (having been to Palm Sunday with the Depews & Roosevelts &c!) Con came to dinner & Claude went to the Huntingtons. (Charlotte went to Atlantic City the day we went to Washington) After dinner Papa & I went over to Stulls, but they weren't home. It began to pour. I took the car over to Davises - Mrs. D. is sick with lumbago & Helen at Kate's in N.Y. (on her Easter vacation) Chattie & I had a nice little visit & then I went down to supper (coffee!) with Lura & "Marie".
