took us a little after three - and we began sidling away - but saw
the Farmers from the end of the course and that left only the
Masters Cup contest un-looked-at.

& Mrs. Joiner called as we were
passing their "trap" and we had a chat. The grass was oh-so-wet and as
a drag galloped past up the muddy streak of a road I bethought me of
the railroad track and we took to the ties like the stranded
dramatists and made a comparatively comfortably entree' to the
station sometime afterwards without ascending and descending the hill
again. There we washed and I tried to (dry us a bit - Ate more food
- and were quite comfortable - all but our feet - when the people
