Sept. 16. Wed. Still very warm. Lura and her Mother have rented a flat at 82 (?) Savannah St. and are going to live there, taking the Coe's

with them (if they might only reconcile that little family) Lura is as happy as can be. Mother and I were - over there a little while tonight. Sept. 17. Thurs. It poured when I got up this a.m. and has more or less all day. There has been a fearful storm down on the Coast. Saw Mary
a minute, in a car, she is in the St. Louis Commissioner's office in the Elwood Bldg (State appointment) and likes it. Helen was in & says Miss Fisher is coming back for the winter! But not to teach!! Jollied the photographers. Yesterday p.m. had a nice visit with Charella, just back from California - Edward leaves for Willliams college Saturday & Frank is writing an opera (!). Jo Wilkinson is visiting Char & Claude. Mrs. W. has rented her house for $1200 and is going to N.Y. to keep house for Fred & Harry & Kath is to board in S
