out to the campus just in time to see the Varsity make 2 touch downs (them were 3 in all) as darkness fell. The Niagaras were O. Then after supper I went down and heard Dr. Barbour's lecture - illustrated - on Malta & Athens. Read "Sir Charles Danvers" later (Char lent me.) Sunday was still lovely, but cloudy. Took a long

long bicycle ride from 11:30 to 1:30 - out past the burned Country Club and 5 horsemen (one Mr.Ramsdell) who had started out early from the castle. They were singing! I inspected the "Harris Farm" which the club talks of buying and came back by devious, but lovely cross roads over to Monroe Ave - and up to the new Orphan Asylum site - which is beautiful - with a view both ways. Stopped 10 minutes to see Kate Davis - just home from her flying trip to Hamburg & back on the Pretoria. The afternoon I spent in my corner reading "Sir Charles" in my red wrapper - with a little rest with Zenda at dusk. Con was here to supper. The Dear Boy comes every day. He and his Charlotte seem so happy

and I am so glad! Today dark & rainy. I got a new long coat.
