Wed Apr. 9. It has rained steadily for two days - a cold down pour & horrid swirl of wind. J.G. and I are still wrestling with "Page of Pittsburgh" and J.W. is still away. Mother quilting - Claude writing & Papa selling the library of Geo. Moss, who died the other day - The Grays have moved away from the corner house (#8) & Mr. & Mrs. Page have taken it. Wed. May 7 "Gentle Spring has Spring." We had a thunder-storm last night and the little leaf-lets are out and my shirt waists are done and I have a McNulty bicycle hat! Claude & Geo. Humphrey are playing "Ping-Pong" in the dining room - They say "3-5" "15 all" "Oh pshaw" "magnificent return" "Beauty-bright" "15-30" - "30 all" "By Jove" "Deuce" "Play" "oh!" "Play" "game" Let's see, in the last month we've had a Perfects meeting at Edith's and one at Miss Scott's and a good time of course
