"Climbers" 6/13/03
July 17 Friday It's a long time since I've written - but would have been a very pleasant one except for neuralgia - quite a bit of it in various forms which I have been having. We have had nice weather and about every Tuesday have been to the Lyceum to see the Stock Company in comedies. The Co. is very good - and five of them - Miss Powell (the leading woman) Mr. Truesdale (the leading man - and handsome) Miss Eddinger and Scott Mason & Clyde Franklin (together) all room opposite the Cutler Bldg. in the "Summer" and we watch them come and go with interest and the progress of Mr. T
's friendship with Miss E.
&c.&c. We have had one half-holidays and
6/13
one-a rainy one - I went to a matinee "The Climbers" at the National with Zaza Blackall. Another - Mother and I
6/20
