from Mary and Edith. Beautiful roses from Chat. Bonbons from Helen, a picture from Lura & one from Kate

New glasses & lots of under clothing & bedding & letter paper from Mother - 5 little books & a bead bag from Papa and $25.00 from Claude! - & something to follow from Trudy. In the afternoon I went up to Mabel's school (No.2) and saw her kinter- garten and the Maypole dance and took some pictures (in some rocky old film Farquaharson gave me.) The children were very cute and I had a nice time with Mabel - Helen Davis, Miss Hofer, Miss Harris & all the No. 14's were there - and Mrs. Geo. Hollister. In the evening Edith came up a little while, and George Humphrey & Jim Arnold to play Ping-pong. Last Sunday I went to Edith Andrews' - (Mrs. Simmons) to dinner & Edith & I walked 'way out to the dugway & back afterward. Saw J.G. in his new automobile - "You see him every where" nowadays - He is enjoying it immensely now he can run it himself
