Sunday it stormed - beautifully - all day
Mae Stull phoned me in the morning
to come up to supper & asked Edith -
("Prudie") so I telephoned her and we both went and had
a very nice cozy time in front of the wood fire. Charlie Wray was there some of the time.
Mae
had lots of pretty things to show us, as usual. Have been very busy
at the office - Since the first of the year I have to initial every
letter that goes out. Miss Gallin is studying
"English" in the night school and is very funny over it, she lets us
read her essays. And we all try to talk good English!

Last Saturday Helen "Alling" Davis
telephoned and invited me to a sleighride party - some of the
Y.W.C.A.
girls and their friends - down to
Mrs. Crouch's at Sea Breeze.
Mrs. Armstrong - Miss Babbage (?) the
new Gym asst. Miss Hutchinson, Miss
"Davis"
and Miss "Doll" Leary and a lot others I
know - but not their names - 17 in all. We started about 6:40 and
all went zippingly till we got past the Forest House, but
then we went
