We had a long chat in the library and all went, early to bed - Kath & Jo tried on their white dresses for the wedding. I slept in Kath's corner room. Nov. 3. Mon. My Claude's Wedding Day. Charlotte came and called me at seven looking, oh, so bright and happy! We had breakfast (all but Henry & Fred) at half past - Then the library was cleared out - The lights were settled about. The presents were ar- ranged and re-arranged (I must get the list I helped make for Charlotte, to put in here) the rooms were trimmed by the florist, Harry and his many assistants. Mrs. Fowler came - and flowers galore and the express man with seven packages and the postman with many letters and a reporter excited about the Prince across the way.
