She has charge of the girls out of school hours in the Cambridge Country School, in Water- town, (opposite Belmont on the Brookline St. cars & with Arlington telephone!) She told stories & so did the rest of us and we had a very delicious dinner, and all helped wash up - Then looked at pictures (mine & others) and "gossiped" till bed time, as "Suzette" was to stay all night. Nov. 27. Friday Still cold and bright and beautiful this morning. Suzette says she's re- lated to the Stedman's of Rochester. We talked Genesee Valley Hunt, David Gray, &c. for breakfast. She departed when the dishes were done and then Nan and Alice and I went for a walk up on the "Heights" - first right up hill past a "reservoir" as they call it - a pond in a
