out by the sundial and everywhere.
Claude was making a cover for McClure's
magazine. Char came down
and we had a nice visit while she made salad in the pantry. I
stopped at Amelie's and had a nice
little visit in her room, while she dressed. Saw all her new
shirtwaists and things. Had
such a good dinner- DearMother - finished "Lizette" and
Geo.
brought me "Youth" to read. Jim has gone to
Buffalo with Plantz - over
Sunday - and Conha is going home with
Edith tomorrow, to ease the family!
Florence
is the matchmaker & the family are sad.
Apr. 13 Mon.
A lovely day - and yesterday was a lovely
Easter. This afternoon Mother and I have
been to Meta's big reception in honor of
Bertha Field (who is to be married tomorrow) and
Miss Friede (May
20th) Yesterday I went to Claude's
4/2 Sun.
to dinner. Kath. was there - She
and I walked up Mt. Hope Avenue together and
stopped to see Mrs. Herzberger's Jays spaniels and
then Amelie called us in to see the
baby - John Donald - asleep on her bed.
After dinner I took two or three pictures out in the yard and later
