I dressed and rode my wheel (but with no hat) to Con's and found him and Edith at dinner. She is as lovely as ever - the dear. They showed me the wedding - trip pictures and wedding presents and the house &c.&c. and asked me up the river with them - but I'd promised the Davis's - so about five I rode out there and soon Lura and her Mother came and we had a regular good old "Georgian Bay" time on the piazza. Both Mr. & Mrs. Davis look fine - but had a hard trip home - waiting for the "Atlantic" at Oldfields from 6 Saturday night till 1 Sunday p.m.! While we sat there, Mr. Seward, the Moshers and Dr. Goler drove up and staid 20 minutes or so - Also Frank, in the Barry auto. and a bunch of pretty children. We all got supper a la "St. Helena" - peanut sandwiches and all - Mrs. Davis was enthusiastic over my pictures and told great tales of the delight of Hamilton and Billy Sing's
