I took turns playing on her card. We played 7 games (till 10:30) and then found Mabel and Helen tied for first - They decided to play it off and each chose a partner. Mabel chose me and Helen chose Mary. The first hand we each got 7, the second they got 13 & we 1 the third we 13 and they 1, and the fourth we beat, so the prize was Mabel's She was perfectly delighted with it (so were they all) It was Christy's

"Her Pilot" picture. The man and girl in the end of a sailboat. It was framed in a simple black frame and was stunning, I think. I sent one like it (unframed, of course) to Maude. Charlotte got the booby and was tickled, it was a little papier mache pumpkin jack-a-lantern on a leaf and lighted up it was awfully funny. We gave them each a lump of coal, too. After the prizes we took the usual flashlight picture - with Mother's & Lura's assistance, and it scart Zozie but no one else, I believe the girls all looked nice, and I had on my very best - Since it was "my" party.
