again. Yesterday afternoon, Edith, Mabel and May Rogers and I went to the Lake to supper - Sat on the shore awhile and then on the "Esplanade" till coming home time. It was delightful. Saw May Townsend (I forget her married name) and her mother, also her brother & Clare Rogers and had a long chat with Mrs. Gilmore and Marjorie. Slept alone in the house last night (the cats were here!)

Today have been lazy. After breakfast (a late one) Charlotte & Frank came over and we went up to Cro'nest - They were delighted & we staid a long time. Then I went over to see Meta by invitation brought by Theo. She was sitting up in a chair and looking fine - Saw the babies again, too, but both asleep. They each weigh six pounds now. Edith came up about six and had supper with me - coffee - salad - bread & butter cake and milk. It's 10:10 and I must "go bye - bye".
