Foster Warner. In the afternoon I went
up to Stulls & had tea in the kitchen -
Mr. Radenhurst was there - He's an interest- ing
English-Canadian who's been all over the world - He told Eton
College & Colorado bear stories -
Mother has got the house cleaned & we've been
getting new certain things & Papa
& I have staid down to luncheons a good deal - He's selling
Mr. Moss's
library - over a thousand dollars
worth of books.
May 15 Thurs.
We had our club meeting at Mary's
tonight (a day early) Chat had a sick
headache, Miss Scott couldn't
come, Florence Rogers went off for "nature study" and
Mabel & May
forgot the change of night, but we
called them up on the telephone and reminded them, so they came over
and we had two tables only, but a very
13th
good time - Tuesday night, I think it was,
Miss Blackall
and I rode out to Maplewood
and had our supper out doors (tho' it was at trifle chilly) It was
nicest on the top of the hill (where the view is lovely) in the sun
where we had a long talk together. We had quite an elaborate ham-and-egg
supper & a nice ride back before dark.

Another birthday! and I fared well,
