Apr 14-30 Two weeks of "Arts & Crafts" show - beginning the 14th(?). I sent my little Burgess house and it was much admired & even commented on in the papers! Claude had some good things in the show - also Jim Arnold. Harvey, Miss Stowell &c. I went twice, once with Mother & one with Lura. Charlotte was in- terested but it nearly used her up (our Char, I mean) For about two weeks the temperature has remained about the same (40°) I done quite a bit of wheeling. I amused myself two weeks writing passionate daily love letters to Edith - on the typewriter signed "Oswald" I had them terminate Apr 20 Monday the day of the last Perfects meeting (20th) at Davis' - She was wildly ex- cited & I know she didn't suspect. I told her Oswald wd wear a white carnation & he did - but to add to the mystery Edith Scott demanded it the moment she saw it & wore it the rest of the evening. So Edith was sadly puzzled & I think doubts if either of us had anything to do with it. She refers to phrases in the letters
