Mar. 16 Monday Got a postal from her today - no Perfects tonight, because Miss Orcutt's mother has the grippe. Lura decided to move to Cutler Bldg. I went there to dinner Wednesday night. Mar. 18 Wed. Con "broke the news" this morning. He & Edith are engaged! He certainly is a lucky man. She and Florence Biegler took lunch with me at Mar 20 Fri. Sibley's Friday. They were very entertaining about it. It was a warm delightful day, as three or four days this week have been. Mar 19 I began riding my wheel Thursday Mar 21 Sat. Saturday P.M. I went up to Helen's and had such a nice time. Supper unto her, up in her room, & then a chat with Chattie & Helen read "Mr. Joggles" ("The Princess listens".) to us. I came home in time for some reading and writing. Mar. 22 Sun. Mother's dear wedding anniversary. I took her picture with Papa - also Zen's & Zo's & then went up to Cro'nest for Claude & Char. Char was resting & not ready but Claude was. It was beautiful
