tasted very good. Con staid till
after 11.
Dec. 25 Wed. Thurs.
We didn't get up very early this Christmas Day. More
things came and about noon
Trudy
and I went up to
Cro'nest
and found everything snug and tight and warm - plants watered and
all - "Mac" is taking care. Had a good turkey dinner and in the
evening some of the girls came over - Edith,
Lura, Charlotte
(her first evening out) and
Helen. They were real jolly
and we had a good time, and nuts and dates and things - I wore one
of my four new stocks!
Dec. 26 Thurs. Fri.
Busy again. Claude &
Char. are staying over Sunday.
Gilmore seemed much pleased with the book I
gave him "Lizette" by Ed. Marshall. He
apologized (?) for only giving me his picture - which was a sort of
a joke, anyway. We sent Harry
some flowers at the Hospital. They think he has typhoid. This
evening
