Dec. 24 Wed. Claude and Charlotte went to Syracuse this p.m.! Plantz went to Buffalo for over Sunday and Trudy

came here. I had part of the afternoon but didn't do anything, as Papa carried my packages - all done up in blue tissue paper, white ribbon and gilt hearts. Con came up after supper and we had our "pie" - as big and as delightful as ever - Con gave me the "Typhoon",Trudy
a beautiful vase for nasturtiums, Claude & Charlotte "Life" for a year, Mother lots of lovely things including "Scribner's" and a beautiful "nightie" like Trudy's
&c.&c. Mrs. Bingham
left a little tissue paper basket of fudge on my desk with an "illustrated poem" on it. Also one for Florence Blackall (alluding to her small pox scares) and Miss Gallin & Miss Flack. Miss B. sent me some flowers & J.G. gave books ("Rome") as usual - which I changed (he told me I might) for a beautiful Book of the Hudson by Bacon & sent it to Cousin Carrie.
