June 16 Saturday Well let’s see, Decoration Day (30th!) Edith & I went to Mumford (Jno & Mae were on the train) & the fish pond & rode back on our wheels & went to the

theatre in the evening. The next day Gellett Burgess came (He's here now.)

The next Saturday we went up the canal on the “Jessie” - Mary, Lura the Rogers girls & Edith, had supper at the cottage hotel & back on the train with Ray Arnold. Claude & Burgess & James & Con have been busy ever since with the Otis memorial arch (Claude’s design) and it is a beauty the boys have also been very gay - invited all about &c. &c. Miss Gutman & I have been learning golf in the park and have spent a number of pleasant evenings so taking our lunch out with us.

A week ago, I was invited to go down to the Canoe Club with the boys, but too late to go – I went to Newport
with Helen Davis & Edith (saw Claude & Burgess there) Had lunch & then rode about the lake a long time – in the most beautiful of
