Tuesday Edith and I went to the
park to supper and played golf a little – practiced over a new
bunker.

A week ago last Saturday we rode to Chili - a
lovely ride with the wind at our back. Had a pleasant time and
started to ride back in the evening – when my tire blew up 8 miles
from home! and we had to walk home barely reaching the city
outskirts by dark. Letters from
Hilda hint at Maude's engagement!
and Nell's
is
announced. Charlotte
wants me to go to Blue Mountain
with her. Helen goes to
Ogunquit
tomorrow night and I am invited to
Lura's to supper tonight – to meet her
friend.
July 24th WednesdayClaude is at the Pan American again – just for the day. He also
went up on business. It is raining tonight – after a long hot spell –
which quite broke the record out west – Nearly all July
