the office with me & to the boys' office and then shopping with
Mary – I met them at Lura’s & in the evening we all four
(Edith too) went to see
Crane in “David Harum” – Really very good –
we were a little late – as the hot water trunk burst, then the water
front & then the “power” gave out on our car line!
15th
Sunday, Hilda stayed in bed all
mor- ning. It was a lovely day. HildEdith
came up for us to go to church – but spent the morning up in my
room, instead. She wouldn’t stay to dinner. I invited Mary, but she wouldn’t come.
Con was here and after dinner and a
little picture taking (mostly for “Pat’s” benefit) we
went to the Lake
out on the pier and to the Stein cottage
&c. Then came home &
soon after supper Claude came - He has
been in Buffalo 10 days working with
Cary
on a Pan–American
Competition. We sat and talked till
16th
bed time. Monday evening Con
came around early and took us to
Cook’s and afterward up to
Miss Olcutt’s dancing class (Easter
party)
