the office with me & to the boys' office and then shopping with Mary – I met them at Lura’s & in the evening we all four (Edith too) went to see Crane in David Harum” – Really very good – we were a little late – as the hot water trunk burst, then the water front & then the “power” gave out on our car line!

Sunday, Hilda stayed in bed all mor- ning. It was a lovely day. Hild Edith came up for us to go to church – but spent the morning up in my room, instead. She wouldn’t stay to dinner. I invited Mary, but she wouldn’t come. Con was here and after dinner and a little picture taking (mostly for Pat’s” benefit) we went to the Lake out on the pier and to the Stein cottage
&c. Then came home & soon after supper Claude came - He has been in Buffalo 10 days working with Cary
on a Pan–American Competition. We sat and talked till
16th
bed time. Monday evening Con came around early and took us to Cook’s and afterward up to Miss Olcutt’s dancing class (Easter party)
