and Con came up this noon to ask me again to go – But we gave him a good dinner and I said “No” – Rode down with Theo and Tessie
and Herma & Frieda and Dick
– all going – Con asked me again at 5 and at 5:30 got off his wheel and walked to Glenny’s promising me Indians and Rough Riders and things – I told him I wouldn’t go for anything less then a New Zealander! Nellie said Mary had gone to Point Breeze for a week. I saw Frank Davis too – and after supper (and a ride to Mrs. Setwick’s ) I had quite chat with dear lonesome Mr. Behn – who told me of the safe arrival of Dr. Davis and his bride &c.&c. Spent the evening tending Rudolph & writing. July 26th Wed. Haven’t done much lately but work and make prints - both day and evening. Saturday Edith was

going to her father’s, via Conesus Lake, and Gilmore invited me to come down on the p.m. excursion go to the yacht race and take supper at his cottage – returning in the evening — I locked up my wheel & left it outside the station and didn’t tell Edith I was really going till the train started. I told Gilmore to go and play Pedro – & E. & I talked all the way – we all sat up
