there was a grate fire in the sitting room & a very delicious supper and a cozy time - altogether. I sat up late and finished Nov. 14th Monday my book,

and as a consequence was very tired this morning. Went around to my new dressmaker's, Miss Murray's, after 5:30 and after supper Mama & I went to see a Mrs. Jarley's wax works at the Third Presbyterian Church – It was very good – Bennie Crosby was “Teddy Roosevelt”. Nov. 15th Tuesday Got more cold last night, but went to the “Gym” tonight. 25 in the class! Miss Punith
led and we did marching mostly. Walked up with Klem. Nov. 16th Wed. Lovely day. Gilmore sick with an ulcerated tooth and was only down a little while, nothing happened. Con told funny stories about his visit to Dansville yesterday – Aroix invited me into his office and showed me a brand new map of Cuba & told me about his brothers, who lost everything they had there during the war. Poor things, and one was just going to be married! I got a letter from Mr. Forsstrom, the Swede, the other day, and some pictures. Tonight I have been writing all the evening.
