clover browzed – Then we went down into the glen - & walked up – taking some pictures, but nearly got caught in a shower – rushed back (tho’ we saw a sign saying “Go slow, you have plenty of time”) & just got to the entrance-house when it poured – we stopped in & watched it and drank warmish ginger– ale which we helped ourselves to. Got home late – just in time to hustle over to May Bunnell Hartman’s to supper. Papa was there, too. Evidently May has changed very little since her marriage & “Albert”
