Her hand was better today – but worse last night (she took the plaster off and used witch hazel) I tried to stay over in Oswego till 5 p.m. but my ticket wasn't good for that. However, the train waited nearly an hour & I got off at the East side, where Kate

was waiting and went up to the house with her & did justice to one of Mrs. Bassett’s nice dinners, as well as seeing the nice children
